Over a 4 year period I have been involved in many aspects of the Big Bash League from brand identity through to multiple campaigns for both the Men’s BBL and the Women’s BBL.
Visual Identity – Made of Summer Nights
Our new visual identity captured that electric moment when a hot summer day melts into a warm night – a vibrant sunset gradient where natural beauty meets neon energy. Against this canvas, the existing team colours didn’t just pop – they exploded.
BBL Ad Campaign – Feel Alive
Post-pandemic, people needed convincing to leave their couches. “Feel Alive” reminded them what they were missing. We created 1,500+ pieces of content showing the full sensory overload: the crowd’s roar, the fireworks’ flash, the pure adrenaline of being there. Our influencers spread the fever, racking up 3.8 million views.
Women’s Big Bash League – This & More
For the Women’s Big Bash League, we flipped the script. Instead of talking about women’s cricket, we just talked about great cricket. “This & More” celebrated the facts: Australia’s most-watched women’s sport, highest-paid female team athletes, playing everywhere from local grounds to legendary stadiums.
Four years. Three campaigns. One message: Big Bash isn’t just cricket. It’s summer nights turned up to eleven.
